We had a grand time at the Garden View Lounge Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! This Alice in Wonderland inspired tea offers many amazing gluten-free options for folks like me with food allergies! I was so impressed with how they were able to accommodate the menu and still make it whimsy!

I also asked to sample a few of the kid-friendly menu options as well and they were superb! Your little ones will love their tea time just as much!

The photos at the end of the post show the more traditional menu items for non-allergy guests! So much time and thought was put into this menu! Kudos to the culinary team for hitting this one out of the ballpark for every guest! I can’t wait to return this summer with my family!

Yesterday, I spent the day touring Discovery Cove and SeaWorld in Orlando and it was amazing! We saw so much and I took so many photos that it took me a day to go through all of them to make a post and these barely scratch the surface of everything these parks have to offer!

Discovery Cove and SeaWorld offer so many interactive attractions and experiences that you truly can get up close and see these amazing creatures in a new way! From swimming with the dolphins at Discovery Cove to watching the shows, feeding the animals, and riding some thrilling coasters in SeaWorld, there is something for everyone! You can even visit Sesame Street for the young and young at heart!

I’m back “home” and the castle is back to its original glory and I think she’s gorgeous!!

The Mardi Gras party has begun at Universal Studios Orlando and boy is it lively! I was there on opening day and it was the place to be!

Nightly parades with beads galore, international food booths throughout the park, weekend concerts by big name artists … all of this is included with your park ticket! It’s not a special add on, it’s just part of the fun of Universal!

It’s just about time for the kickoff of Super Bowl LX and we are excited! Who are you rooting for? The Seahawks or the Patriots? Or are you just watching for the commercials? 😂

Mardi Gras is in full swing at Universal Orlando Resort. I was there today taking in the festivities and the party has definitely started. Food booths and trucks line the streets with delicious international samplings! The music is flowing through the day just waiting to usher in the night time parade! The decor is amazing with lots of stations for selfies and family photos to make you feel like you’re in NOLA!

This is such a great and family-friendly way to experience Mardi Gras! The party continues through April 4th! See why Universal is one of my favorite destinations to get away to!
