There are no indications the passenger train will be operating in 2021. If any information is received stating otherwise this page will immediately be updated. We have been receiving many messages and questions about the 2021 season. We know everyone would like to make summer/fall plans and the requests for tickets have been uplifting! However, we are still in the midst of this pandemic. There are a lot of uncertainties moving forward and any decisions must be weighed carefully. For now the ticket sales and all operations remain suspended. If any information becomes available it will immediately be posted here. If anyone would like more information about other activities available in the area please contact the Wellsboro Chamber of Commerce at (570) 724-1926 or visit www.wellsboropa.com

The Wellsboro Area Chamber of Commerce is involved in business and tourism. We host many events and activities throughout the year including the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally and the PA State Laurel Festival in June, and Dickens of a Christmas in December.

We would like to say thank you for the continued visits and page likes! Even though we are not open this year our area has many other attractions to see. The leaves are turning nicely and now would be a perfect time to make a visit, see the colorful fall foliage, and support other local businesses. 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃

Unfortunately the Tioga Central Railroad passenger train will not be able to operate under the restrictions currently in place. All passenger operations are postponed until further notice. Reservations and ticket purchases cannot be made at this time. Please stay healthy and safe!

Hello railroad enthusiasts! The past few months have been difficult for many. As with many businesses within the tourism industry we have been left with a lot of uncertainty. To protect the health and safety of our customers and crew it has been decided to suspend operations for the months of May & June. As disappointing as this is for us we want safety first above all else. A tentative opening date is on the horizon for the month of July. Those who have already made reservations for May & June will be contacted in the upcoming weeks and given refunds or exchanges. Anyone who wishes to make a reservation for July-October can still do so by calling the office at 570-724-0990. We look forward to seeing everyone when it is safe. We hope for your health & happiness and will see you again soon!

Warmer weather is on the way! In a few short weeks spring will be in full bloom. We are busy prepping the excursion train for the 2020 season which will run May 23rd through October 31st. The 2019 passenger excursion train season has come to an end. We would like to say Thank You to the crew, staff and all of our supporters & customers who have made this season successful!
The 2020 season will run late May thru
October and we will post the new ticketing and pricing information when it becomes available. As always, you can find general information on our website www.tiogacentral.com.
