StrikeHard and its family of suppliers and employees would like to thank the people of Penticton and the South Okanagan Valley for their generous support as they endeavor to train the best pilots and service personnel in the horizontal rotor universe.

Comments and questions occasionally come up about night flying and stationary hover maneuvers. While disruptive to light sleepers, these practices are necessary to ensure conditions are ideal for night vision, heat lock and IR target acquisition protocols over industrial, commercial and residential landscapes.

This time of year, we’re often contracted to help move the air in flowering orchards to keep the frost from settling on the blossoms. Later in the season we use the rotor wash to push rain droplets off the almost ripe fruit, mostly cherries. This is not a picture of our equipment. We often instruct the pilots to return to base ‘low and slow’ over Penticton residential areas to help with backyard fruit trees. We’re proud to assist the agriculture industry in the Okanagan Valley.
