For those interested in even more history on the railroads in Minnesota, visit the Minnesota Transportation Museum at http://www.mtmuseum.org/. They are in the running as well for the Partners in Preservation Grant.

Just a reminder of the upcoming Open House at the Wayzata Depot, this Saturday (Oct. 8th) and Sunday (Oct. 9th) from 12-4pm.

On both Saturday and Sunday from 1-4pm, the Minnesota Garden Railway Society will be at the Depot operating the model railway set on the east side of the Depot building.

Also, as a special treat, a metro-area reenactor will be at the Depot from 12:30pm-2:00pm protraying Mr. James J. Hill! Come experience the Depot this weekend!

Also, don't forget to vote today and everyday until Oct. 12th!

Just a reminder that the Wayzata Depot will be having an Open House on Sat. October 8th and Sun. Oct. 9th from 12:00pm - 4:00pm. The local chapter of the Minnesota Garden Railway Society will be operating garden railway outside the Depot.
