Our Wayne team recently completed their 150,000th refrigerated trailer, a Great Dane Everest built for Hurricane Express.

The occasion also marked their 40-year anniversary and celebrated the team’s recent Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association Safety Award.

On September 20, 2026, Kelli Carson was recognized by Great Dane Corporate as the recipient of the Supply Chain Excellence Award, one of the organization's highest honors for outstanding contributions to supply chain operations.

Kelli's 29-year career with Great Dane began in the Supply Chain Department, where she steadily expanded her responsibilities and expertise through a variety of roles at the Wayne facility. Her extensive knowledge, dedication, and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on the organization and the teams she supports.

Over the past year, Kelli played a key role in leading the Supply Chain team, providing exceptional guidance and leadership during a period of transition. Safety is a shared commitment at Great Dane Wayne, and preparation plays an important role in protecting our teams.

Recently, Fire Extinguisher Training was conducted for all Supervisors and Team Leads to strengthen emergency preparedness and reinforce workplace safety awareness. The hands-on training was hosted at the local fire department and led by Scott Brogren, Product Engineer and volunteer firefighter, who shared valuable knowledge and real-world experience to help ensure our leaders are prepared to respond in the event of an emergency.

This training highlights the value of local collaboration, employees sharing expertise, and teams working together to strengthen our safety culture. By investing in preparedness and continuous learning, we continue building a safer workplace for everyone.
