Spayed female to be rehomed to approved home.’
Read fully about her before you inquire.
As we spoke earlier this morning, I am looking to give up our dog Freyja that we got from you. She was born on 12/07/22 from Mandy and Fabiana from litter
She is a super active girl and one of the most athletic dogs I've been around, she has almost boundless energy and it can be hard to get her tired. When we socialize her with other dogs she will tire all of them out before she is even close to getting tired herself. I considered doing agility training with her but never had time and I think she would excel if given the opportunity. She acts like she is the alpha whenever she is around other dogs which can be a problem with other dogs that also think they are alpha. When playing with other dogs we take away toys as she will hoard them and will not share them with other dogs, when other dogs take"her" toys she will aggressively take them back. She is extremely food motivated, we have to make sure there is no food anywhere she can get to as she will go after it the moment anyone is not looking. She is incredibly smart and picks up tricks very fast. She is very strong willed which can make training a challenge, usually because she chooses she's done training and wants to do something else. She is a very strong chewer and enjoys having a variety of chewing toys and balls. She loves to play fetch but we have to take the balls away from her quickly or she will shred them to bits if we leave them with her too long. She often does not realize, or care, how strong she is so I would not recommend her be housed with small children or children with no experience with other dogs. Because she is so possessive of toys and her attitude of being the alpha I do not think she should be in a household with other dogs unless there already is a strong alpha in place already and owners that know how to handle power dynamics appropriately. She can be incredibly sweet and cuddly but only for short bits. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate overnight. She should be crated if she is unsupervised for more than 1/2 hour otherwise she will find ways to entertain herself, usually chewing through something she should not.
She has never had any medical issues and the vet often compliments us on how healthy she is
