This Friday, Waukesha County Airport will be hosting Operation Cheddar Flag, a formation training clinic that brings together warbird pilots from around the world to practice and maintain proficiency ahead of their appearances at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
Throughout the day, pilots will be conducting formation training flights as part of the clinic. Between training missions, more than 20 historic warbirds are expected to be parked on display right next to the Food Truck Friday area, giving visitors a unique opportunity to see these incredible aircraft up close.
From classic military trainers and observation aircraft to rare warbirds, the ramp will be filled with aviation history while you enjoy great food from this week's food truck lineup.
Whether you're an aviation enthusiast, photographer, history buff, or just looking for something rare this Friday, this will be one of the most exciting Food Truck Fridays of the season.
