September 1 is Boston’s biggest moving day!

Boston.com paid us a visit this morning and got the chance to speak with three members of our moving team (Chris Johnson, Jarid Sylvia, and Stephen Cotter) about what it takes to keep the city moving on September 1.

From early morning starts and gridlocked streets to narrow staircases and long days, they shared an inside look at the preparation, stamina, and teamwork the job requires. Jarid recalled, “One street was so shut down with so many moving vans that I had to actually stop a move to get traffic flowing again.”

We’re proud to see their hard work and professionalism in the spotlight.

Every year, we look forward to Plane Pull, and every year we're proud to be part of it. Our team works behind the scenes, providing temporary storage, transportation, and day-of setup, so the runway can come together without a hitch.

The work starts well before the doors open, which makes it that much more rewarding to watch thousands of people show up in support of such a meaningful cause.

This year had a special highlight: Tyler, a Special Olympics swimmer Olympia proudly sponsors, joined us for the day. Having him there was a reminder of what it's all really about. Supporting the athletes, celebrating what they've accomplished, and making sure everyone has a great time.

We're grateful to play a small part in something that brings so much joy to these athletes and the whole community.

Big congratulations to Miguel, Crew Chief/Foreman at our MA Branch, who just hit his 6-month milestone and earned the first $2,000 of his Foreman Sign-On Bonus!
