Had to cut the day a bit short today. Thankfully, everyone got back and off the water safely before the storm hit. Crazy storm with extremely high winds. The radar showed only rain, but we could see it coming and knew it was way more than just rain. We had just enough time to get the essentials into the car and move the cars out of the way before all hell broke loose. We lost both of our canopies, and the whole line of skis moved about 100 feet, dragging 300 pounds of concrete with it. No major losses and no injuries, so we consider that a win.

This young man came in with his family today fully prepared. At just 13 years old, he already holds both a boater’s license and a hunter’s license. That’s impressive.

We always love seeing kids who take safety and responsibility seriously, so I had to give him a shoutout.

Also, major props to his parents for raising two very respectful young men. You’re doing it right.

This Saturday, May 31st, we will pause all jet ski operations until after 12:00 PM to honor the memory of Ava Moore and show our deepest respect during the Kayakers Tribute/Memorial happening from 10 AM to noon.
