🎃 Popular Halloween Spots for Vietnamese Communities in the U.S. 🇺🇸

Halloween in America isn’t just about costumes or trick-or-treating — for the Vietnamese community, it’s also a time to have fun, gather with friends, and experience American culture in their own special way.
Every year, cities with large Vietnamese populations like Houston, California, Seattle, and Dallas come alive with festive excitement.

🏙️ Halloween Streets – Where Vietnamese Families Stroll and Celebrate
Many neighborhoods in the U.S. are decked out in full Halloween glory: pumpkins, spider webs, glowing lanterns, spooky sound effects… both kids and adults dress up — from vampires and princesses to superheroes and even ông Địa!
Families often walk around together, take photos, and hand out candies to trick-or-treaters.

🎡 Theme Parks & Outdoor Festivals
Vietnamese families love to visit places like Disneyland, Universal Studios, or Six Flags during this season. Events like “Halloween Horror Nights,” “Fright Fest,” or “Pumpkin Festival” offer the perfect mix of thrills and fun — and of course, endless opportunities for spooky selfies! 🎢📸

🎃 Vietnamese Markets & Community Centers
Popular Vietnamese shopping areas such as Hong Kong Market, 99 Ranch, or Little Saigon often host mini-events: candy giveaways for kids, costume contests, or pumpkin carving competitions.
The atmosphere is heartwarming — blending American festivity with the close-knit Vietnamese community spirit.

🍰 Halloween Parties at Friends’ and Family Homes
And of course, there are cozy home parties — with sweets, Vietnamese food, a little wine, and lots of laughter.
For many overseas Vietnamese, Halloween isn’t just an “American holiday” — it’s another chance to come together, share stories, and feel the warmth of family amid the cool autumn air.

🎃 Wherever we live, Vietnamese people always find ways to make every celebration a meaningful memory.
So, what about you? This Halloween — where will you go to have fun and dress up with your friends? 👻

Train Journey from San Francisco to New York: The Ultimate Cross-Country Adventure 🚆🇺🇸

Traveling from San Francisco to New York by train isn’t just a trip — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure across America’s most breathtaking landscapes. Departure: San Francisco (Emeryville Station)

Duration: Around 51–52 hours from Emeryville to Chicago

Transfer in Chicago 🏙️
At Chicago Union Station, switch to another Amtrak service for the eastern leg of your journey. Take a breather, grab a deep-dish pizza, and get ready for the final stretch!

Part 2: The Lake Shore Limited 🚞
Next, board the Lake Shore Limited, a classic route tracing the shores of Lake Michigan and the scenic Hudson River Valley before reaching New York.

Key Stops: Toledo, Cleveland, Buffalo, Albany
Duration: About 20 hours from Chicago to New York

Arrival: New York City (Penn Station)
Your epic adventure ends at New York Penn Station, right in the heart of Manhattan — where the pulse of the city instantly takes over.

Total Journey Time:
Approximately 70–75 hours, depending on schedules and transfer times in Chicago.

Highlights:
✨ Ever-changing scenery — from sun-baked Nevada deserts to snow-capped Rockies and lush Hudson River valleys.
🛏️ Comfortable accommodations — from coach seats to private sleeper rooms with beds and amenities.
📸 Perfect for slow travelers who love the idea of watching America unfold mile by mile.

Whether you’re chasing the nostalgia of classic rail travel or just want to see America the Beautiful from a whole new perspective — this journey is pure magic on steel rails.

🇺🇸 When You Think You’re Driving… But You’re Actually Playing Sudoku in Real Life 😵‍💫

If you think getting a driver’s license in the U.S. is tough, wait until you try surviving one of these — the legendary American freeway interchanges!

This isn’t just a road. It’s a masterpiece of chaos, a true labyrinth of concrete spaghetti where GPS says “turn right,” but your gut screams, “Don’t do it!” 😂

Picture this: you’re vibing in your car, music on, coffee in hand…
then suddenly —

“Recalculating route…”
“Take I-405 North to merge into I-110 South before exiting onto I-105 West…”
“Wait—what?!” 😵

By the time you figure it out, you’ve already traveled three cities away and are questioning every life decision you’ve made behind the wheel.

Americans call it the “Spaghetti Junction,” but for us, it’s more like:

🍜 “Where cars move less, but your brain does all the heavy traffic!”

Still, when you look at it from above — it’s kind of… beautiful.
All those curves and layers look like a piece of modern art, celebrating human creativity (and confusion).

So next time you drive through California, Texas, or anywhere with a 7-layer highway sandwich like this, take a photo.
Not just for memories — but as proof you survived one of the wildest rides in America! 😂

8. Đại dương & Núi: Bắt đầu chuyến đi của bạn tại Đại Tây Dương ở Maryland và, nếu bạn sẵn sàng, hãy kết thúc gần Thái Bình Dương ở California - nhìn thấy tất cả ở giữa.
