When safety calls, our mariners respond. While operating off the coast of South Florida, mariners aboard our containership Paradero spotted distress signals from a disabled biat and took action.

Working together and under the leadership of Captain Yucel Yeniceri, the crew adjusted course and safely brought the two people aboard, assessed their immediate needs and coordinated with the U.S. Coast Guard to support their transfer to a rescue boat.

The response is a reminder that safety extends beyond the vessel itself. It is reflected in the decisions our mariners make, the preparation behind every operation and the responsibility seafarers share to help others on the water.

That commitment guided every step of this response. Job well done to Captain Yeniceri and the entire crew of the Paradero.

As Crowley has grown and evolved, Reece Alford has helped strengthen the legal and governance foundation that supports the business.

In his expanded role as senior vice president and general counsel, Reece now leads the company's enterprise risk management functions in addition to legal, insurance, claims, and ethics and compliance.

Since joining Crowley in 2018, Reece has helped the company navigate complex legal, governance and business matters while supporting informed decision-making across the enterprise. He works closely with leaders across the business to help manage risk, navigate challenges and strengthen the governance practices that support Crowley's continued growth and long-term success.
