Tybee Island was so beautiful! Highly recommend if you are in the Savannah area! Perfect, warm and safe waves 🌊 also, check out the downtown area! I wish we would have had more time to explore but time to get to bed and off to more driving in the am! 💤

Hi everyone! 👋

It’s been a little quiet over here on the page, and I wanted to pop in and say hello and thank you for your continued support!

This season has been especially busy with travel and sessions, and I’m so grateful for all the amazing families I’ve had the chance to work with. Because of that, I haven’t been posting as regularly as I normally do—but I’m excited to get back to sharing more soon!

I’ll be updating this page again with travel info, availability, and some helpful tips and tricks for planning sessions and making the most of your time together.

Thank you for being here and for your patience while I’ve been a little behind the scenes lately. More coming very soon! ✨

✈️ Travel Tip: When Is the BEST Time to Book Flights?

Here’s our secrets 🤫

🗓 Book about 1–2 months ahead of time ⏰
For most domestic trips, this is the sweet spot where prices are usually lower but flights still have good availability.

💻 Check prices on Wednesdays!
Airlines often adjust prices early in the week, and by Wednesday you can sometimes catch lower fares before they go back up for the weekend rush.

📅 Stay flexible with your travel dates
This is HUGE. Sometimes moving your trip by even one day can save hundreds of dollars. Always check the “flexible dates” or calendar view when searching flights.

💡 More tricks to save on flights:

• Fly midweek – Tuesday and Wednesday departures are often cheaper than Friday or Sunday.
• Use incognito/private browsing when searching flights so prices don’t creep up based on repeat searches.
• Set price alerts on sites like Google Flights so you know when prices drop.
• Check nearby airports – sometimes flying out of or into a different airport can save a lot.
• Avoid peak travel times (holidays, spring break, big events) if you can.

✈️ My biggest advice: Don’t stress about getting the absolute lowest price. If the flight fits your budget and schedule, grab it. Prices change constantly!

Travel doesn’t have to break the bank — a few small tricks can make a big difference.

Traveling and ✨ADHD✨ — let’s talk about it.

If you didn’t know, my family of 5 is all diagnosed with ADHD… which makes life interesting and chaotic on a normal day. Traveling? Multiply that chaos by 10 🤣

But honestly, ADHD can also be a travel superpower if you learn how to work with it instead of against it.

Here are a few things we’ve learned traveling as an ADHD family:

The Pros:

✨ We are spontaneous — which means we’re great at last-minute adventures and detours.

✨ We notice EVERYTHING. Cool roadside stops, random trails, weird museums… we’re easily entertained.

✨ We bring big energy and excitement to new places.

✨ Hyperfocus = deep dives into planning the BEST hikes, food stops, and hidden gems.

⸻

The Challenges:

😅 Packing can turn chaotic quickly if we don’t have a system.

😅 Someone always forgets something important.

😅 Transitions (leaving the hotel, getting back in the car, etc.) can take… longer than expected.

😅 Long drives require a LOT of snacks and activity breaks.

⸻

Because of this, we’ve created some systems that make traveling way easier for our family, and I’ll share a few of the travel items and tricks if you’d like to shoot me a message!

If your family has ADHD too — what’s the hardest part about traveling?

✨ FOOD AND SAVING $$$ PRO TIPS! ✨

- Make and freeze taco meat, chicken or any other proteins that need cooked and then warmed if you know you will not have cooking facilities. We are going on a trip this weekend and know we will have a microwave but no stove top or oven. This saves us SO much money! (Taco meat, breakfast burritos, etc are so easy to quickly warm up!)

- Pre plan and pre order your ingredients/meals for pick up when you get to a destination! We have a Walmart pick up order always ready if we are flying in or driving a long distance to save time!

- Lucas likes to make sandwiches early in the morning and throw them in the freezer, along with some fruit, so it is the perfect temp for lunch if we are hiking or at the beach!

We try to only eat out if it’s a “must try” place or we have dinner plans with someone but if it is just us, this is an easy way to save literal HUNDREDS 💵 on a trip!

Hey friends 🤍

Lucas and I have talked for a long time about starting a travel blog/vlog — and we finally decided to just go for it.

We’re a family of five who loves exploring, especially national parks, road trips, and outdoor adventures. But we’re doing it realistically — with three kids, busy schedules, a budget and a pet in the mix!

This page is where we’ll share:

🏔 Budget-friendly travel ideas
🚗 Road trip tips (with kids!)
✈️ Airplane tips with kids
📍 Where to go + what to do (and what to skip)
📦 Travel must-haves that actually make life easier
📸 And the real, slightly chaotic moments in between

I’ve spend way too much time (and $ 😳) researching gear, packing systems, snacks, organization hacks, and travel finds — so I figured I might as well share what works (and what doesn’t).

If something saves us time, money, or a meltdown on a trail, you’ll find it here.

We’re excited to bring you along 🤍
