A portion of Maguire Street will be closed TODAY (12/19) from 1:50 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. for a special ribbon-cutting celebration at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (607 N. Maguire Street).

If you're traveling through the area during this time, please use Furmeson Street ➡️ College Street ➡️ North Street to detour.

The Maguire Street and Gay Street intersection will temporarily operate as a four-way stop tomorrow (Tuesday, 12/16) so crews can switch the signals to the new system.

Please drive carefully through intersections, follow stop signs, and plan for extra travel time.

Crews will be installing permanent pavement markings along Maguire Street today (11/11) through Friday (11/14).

The traveling public should expect delays and brief lane closures. Flaggers will help direct traffic through the corridor during this work.

🚧 Traffic Alert 🚧

Several side streets along Maguire Street will have short temporary closures today due to asphalt paving operations.

Streets affected include:
Culton Street
Gay Street
North Street
Emerson Street

Only local traffic will be allowed on these streets during this work.

Crews anticipate that all side streets will reopen by the end of the day.
