Today, our team had the honor of helping to celebrate the extraordinary life of Mrs. Tara Bynes-Jackson of the Historic Bynes-Royall Funeral Home of Savannah.

We were honored to be a part of the burial services for Peter Hollings at Beaufort National Cemetery. Peter was the husband of portrait artist, Mary Villion de Benveniste and nephew of the late Senator Fritz Hollings. A resident of Walterboro, the couple’s home is featured on our history tours as one of the town’s oldest and most historic homes. Peter and Mary have always been gracious supporters of our tours and horses.

Today was this special lady’s last day with us as she is making her way to middle Georgia to be a new mommy. Bre Turner first came to use from another carriage company in Savannah and has been a great asset to our family. She is the best of the best and has been wonderful with driving and training. We truly are going to miss her and all of her many wonderful attributes. Good luck Bre!

The 2025 Christmas Season had officially come to an end! As the horses are settling in for Santa and a long winter’s nap, we have to stop and say, thank you to all who have supported us and been a part of our family. Merry Christmas from our barn to yours!
