Congratulations to Pilot's Ally on becoming one of only four FAA-authorized Airframe and Powerplant Oral and Practical testing locations in Arkansas.

This designation, awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration, allows Pilot's Ally to administer the final hands-on examinations required for aspiring aviation maintenance technicians to earn their FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.

Co-owned by Alan Morvin and Tyler Thomas, Pilot's Ally has already successfully completed its first FAA examination following the authorization, further expanding the aviation services available at Walnut Ridge Regional Airport.

As a community with a rich aviation heritage, this achievement represents another step forward for Walnut Ridge and Lawrence County, strengthening our role in workforce development while providing greater access to FAA certification for aviation professionals across Arkansas and the surrounding region.
