A note from the owner: Hello all Encina and Clayton Bikes friends, family and clients. I just want to say a few things. First off, Happy New Year and thank you for another wonderful year of Encina and Clayton Bikes! As we look back on the year I can’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude towards our customers, our staff and all those that have contributed to this beloved business over the year. I’d like to thank everyone for their patience while we made great improvements to our operation and found some key additions to our staff. There’s no doubt last year had its challenges. The bike business is changing rapidly. I’m thoroughly impressed at how the staff adapted and embraced all of the nuances bike shops have to manage through. I believe after all is said and done we managed to improve and speed up our operation by year’s end. It’s our mission to be a worthy and capable business that serves its community with respect, passion and honesty. When we’re thrown curveballs we still knock em out of the park. In the spirit of my father who started the business in 1974 we stay the course. Unapologetically and un-wavering. The very things that make this business unique are the very things that make it successful. I’d like to thank my staff especially….it takes at least 10 of us everyday 7 days a week to operate this business. They all showed consistent and dedicated work ethic that really showed up. We are the team that carries the torch now but it’s still the mission to be worthy, affective and capable of being your chosen bike stores. We continue to earn your business with positivity, honesty and fairness. With the help of our big brands Trek, Specialized, Santa Cruz and Marin we continue to stock the best products. Our service department really stepped it up this year especially in the second half. This was the year we grew up and got better. We move on and look forward to many more years of serving our community. As we enter our 52nd year of Encina and 44th year of Clayton Bikes we pedal on and we encourage you do the same!
