3 months or so ago, our Noah took over the reigns of our Truck Seventy One and has been doing a fantastic job taking care of her. Even taking the time on his days off to work on polishing and keeping her looking her best! We sure appreciate that ! Thank You Noah !

So let me tell you about this guy right here! He’s someone I can say that we can count on. We can count on him for some laughter. We can count on him for some sarcasm (in the best of ways) and we can count on him at work. What a great package !

Its been almost 10yrs now of having him as part of our East Side Family. It feels like he has always been here. When he first came to East Side, it was with someone else who was applying. And right then and there it was kind of like he was meant to be here. And he obviously was 😆😃

This situation sure has put us all on edge. This is definitely not the outcome we were hoping for but certainly an unfortunate way to be reminded of the risks we all take being out here. This heightened awareness needs to be shared and spread.

Our condolences to Alejandro’s family and friends.

A missing truck driver who disappeared under suspicious circumstances has been found dead in Georgia, the FBI said Wednesday.

In a news release, the FBI said the body of Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez has been found in “Coastal Georgia.” Officials did not release further details on where his body was found, nor additional information on the circumstances of his
disappearance or death.

The backstory:
Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez was reported missing nearly two weeks ago after his truck hauler was found in Georgia - and several vehicles, and him, were missing, officials said.
According to the FBI:

* On April 16, Gonzalez picked up a shipment of vehicles from the Port of Brunswick in Georgia. Those vehicles were expected to be delivered to Miami, Florida.

* On April 17, Gonzalez was last seen during the early morning hours at the I-95 South Brevard County Rest Area in Grant-Valkaria, Florida.

* That same day, his truck was found in Port Wentworth, Georgia with several vehicles missing. He was not found. Officials said three of the missing vehicles were found in Florida.

* April 29: The FBI announced that Gonzalez’s body had been found in Georgia.

* What you can do: Both the FBI Field Offices in Atlanta and Tampa are investigating Gonzalez’s death. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBl’s tip line at 1-800-225-5324 (1-800-CALL-FBI). Tips can also be submitted online.

Thank you for making us all aware of this very serious situation. Apparently 3 of the vehicles have been recovered but Alejandro and other the vehicles are still missing.

“FBI Searching for Missing Tampa Truck Driver Who Vanished After Car Hauler Makes Unexplained U-Turn on I-95 - Hijacking Suspected, Truck Found Empty in Georgia, Several Vehicles From Load Missing

TAMPA, FLORIDA — The FBl’s Tampa Field Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing CDL truck driver who may have been the victim of a hijacking after he disappeared on April 17 while transporting vehicles from Georgia to Miami. Several vehicles from his load are also missing.

Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez, 41, picked up multiple vehicles from the Port of Brunswick in Georgia on April 16, 2026, and departed southbound toward Miami. At approximately 1:21 a.m. on April 17, he arrived at the Brevard County Rest Area on I-95 South in Grant-Valkaria, where he rested for several hours.

At 7:49 a.m., GPS from the truck recorded it traveling south one exit before turning around and heading north toward Jacksonville. Shortly after, Gonzalez became unreachable and the truck was reported missing.

Later on April 17, the truck was located in Port Wentworth, Georgia - but Gonzalez was not inside.
Several vehicles were missing from the hauler. Since the truck was found, three of the missing vehicles have been located in Florida. Others remain missing, along with Gonzalez.

Description:
Gonzalez is a Hispanic male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, bald with a brown beard and mustache. He has a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm, a tattoo on his lower right arm, and a tattoo of the name “Elisia” on his right forearm. He is originally from Cuba and speaks English and Spanish.

The FBI is specifically seeking photos and video footage from anyone who was at or near the Brevard County Rest Area in Grant-Valkaria between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, with a particular focus on the southern portion of the rest area near the ramp leading back onto I-95 South.
