The DOS is responsible for building and maintaining close relationships with clients. The DOS is responsible for prospecting, achieving call quotas, client documentation, selling rooms, and creating innovative avenues to increase revenues. The DOS will coordinate, direct and manage all aspects of the sales process. The DOS reports directly to the General Manager of the hotel and the VP of Sales and Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Hotel Sales and Marketing
Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plan to drive RevPar
Identify and mine target markets
Complete and submit all RFP's before deadlines
Leverage Hilton sales and marketing resources
Create awareness of brand
Oversee website and coordinate hotel social media activities
Actively engage in the community to understand the market and increase awareness
Effective manage and track Sales performance in achieving goals
Monitor competitors in the market place
Maintain strong relationships with key hotel customers and accounts
Prospect and obtain new accounts through varies meanings including but not limited to networking, social media, research, cold calls and inbound calls
Achieve call and revenue goals consistently
Create new packages and revenue streams
All other duties as assigned
Provide Superior Guest and Client Service
Maintain and improve property standards and service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provide exceptional guest service to all hotel guests
Ensure that hotel team has the tools to provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests
Remain highly visible and be readily available for clients at all times.
Continually train hotel employees to assist in selling and promoting the hotel
Regularly track and review account production
Job Requirements
Minimum three yearsโ experience in hotel sales; area market a plus; Hilton experience a plus
Prior budgeting and reporting experience is beneficial.
Proven track record in closing sales and achieving revenue goals
Must have knowledge of social media platforms and will be responsible to publish content
Positive leadership skills required
Must be able to conduct outside saleโs calls
Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other software as necessary.
Knowledge of property management systems โ Experience with OnQ system a plus
Ability to adapt to a dynamic, quickly-changing environment.
Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and leadership skills are a must
Must be able to travel for calls and training
Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may require extended work hours
Clear driving record and acceptable results on background screening
Other duties as assigned
