Sam’s Club find for the win!!!

If you’re like me any fully cooked (heat up) chicken is a NO GO! Texture is everything! You don’t have to worry about that with this patty! It is delicious and weighs in at 3.5 ounces heated up and 18g of protein!

I paired this with 2oz of cottage cheese, 1oz of mozzarella cheese and 2 teaspoons of Roa’s marinara!

Love Taco Bowls? I know I do!

So, so easy and absolutely DELICIOUS!

Packed with 41g of protein and only 8 carbs! This comes in weighing only 4.5 ounces which leaves plenty of space in my new pouch, but leaves me feeling stuffed!

Do you use these chips for anything else? They are SOOO yummy even alone! 😍

I am not a protein “sweets” person AT ALL. It all tastes medicinal in my opinion.

However, I found THE BEST protein bar. It is seriously delicious. It’s also a full meal replacement or energy boosting snack.

The price is pretty competitive too!

Try them and let me know what you think!

Cottage Cheese Pizza Bowl

Don’t knock it until you try it!

1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese (pictured is 4%, but I usually use 1% - I was out though so it increased carbs and fat, but still healthy)
1/4 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
2 tbsp pizza sauce, marinara sauce (I usually use Roa’s, again, I was out)
26 Pepperoni’s chopped up

Mix it all together and microwave for 90 seconds. Stir and ENJOY.

Easy, peasy. So delicious! Only 9g of carbs and packed with 29g of protein!

I add other things occasionally like ground beef/chicken/turkey, onions, bell peppers, banana peppers… the opportunity is endless!

Adult Lunchable - One of the most filling things I eat. There is enough food here to split between a snack and then lunch. It’s packed with protein, all healthy fats, and of course some dietary fiber which we always need when clean eating.

Double posting - SO WEIRD!

Anyways, here is a quick piece together from the notebook to the menu I will hang in the kitchen!

This grocery list is for a total of 4 people! That breaks down to $34.52 per person per day. With an average of $11.51 per meal (if 3 meals per day). However, we usually eat a total of 6 throughout the day as we halftime to save for later times.

Doing this allows for everyone in the house to know what’s for dinner each night. If I get home late, someone else can start on it. It works great and keeps us on track to prevent eating out!

I’m not pro, but I’m learning! What do you do? Any suggestions?

It arrived yesterday and I am working on plugging everything into it! Once I get a week completed, I will share what that looks like!

As for dinner tonight, easy peasy… Grilled Chicken Salad and of course homemade ranch dressing!

What do you do for lunch?

A question recently asked to me!

First and foremost, I work with a dietician and am under the care/supervision of my primary care. Every person is different and no one body is the same. However, in any diet, macros are important. In my diet, my micros are just as equally improtant!

Macros = Fat, Protein and Carbs
Micros = Vitamins/Minerals (supplements for me)

If you are not consuming the proper amount of macros/micros your body needs you will experience stalls and frustrations in a weightloss journey! Also, WATER… DRINK IT!

I NEVER count calories! I don’t have to if my macros/micros are consistently being met!

My current goals are -
Water - 80 ounces per day
Protein - 120g per day
Carbs - less than 50 per day
Fat - I don’t count this often, but as intake increases my goal is 40-50g per day and less than 20g of saturated fats per day!

Thats a lot! So, here is goes… Lean Meats/Veggies/Fruits and avoid processed foods!

Ok, now that that is out of the way… typical lunches…

Option 1 - Cottage Cheese Pasta Bake
1/4 cup cottage cheese (lowest fat content)
1/4 cup seasoned ground turkey/chicken or beef if it fits your macros
1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
2 tablespoons of salsa

*You can eat this by itself (I do) or you can use the zero net carb tortillas and pop them in the microwave or oven and make chips out of it to dip!

Option 2 - Cottage Cheese Pizza Bake
1/4 cup cottage cheese (lowest fat content)
10 cut up pepperonis (I use turkey pepperonis)
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons of pizza sauce (Rao’s is what I use)

*I have added onions, bell peppers, used ham cubes instead of pepperonis or sausage, beef… SO EASY AND SO MANY OPTIONS.

Option 3 - Adult Lunchable
10 pepperonis
1 string cheese
1 oz carrots
1 oz broccoli
1 oz baby dill pickles
2 tablespoons Ranch for dipping

*This is always my go to if I didn’t think about or plan out lunch… you can sub so much for this. Carved turkey lunch meat, cheese cubes, any veggies, some fruits… it’s honestly whatever you choose as long as it’s fresh and healthy!

Option 4 - Taylor’s Farms Snack Packs

Smokehouse Almonds (added pic)
Pickles
String Cheese
Beef Jerky (added pic)

I hope this helps someone out there!
