β’ Cobia: Early season sight-fishing is exploding; anglers are counting down to June 15 when the keeping season officially opens.
β’ Red Drum: Bull reds are heavily patrolling the grassbeds and areas east of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (CBBT).
β’ Structure Targets: High-quality sheepshead, spadefish, and tautog are being pulled off the pilings at the CBBT and Lesner Bridge using fiddler crabs.Bottom Fishing: Steady numbers of croaker, roundhead (kingfish), and flounder are active in the rivers and surf.
