What am I gonna do?! 😭

I guess the grass CAN be greener?! 😂 (p.s. I know this isn’t our typical travel content, but when we’re in-between trips I like to make sure the lawn is nice.) Anyone else have a terrible brown spot story?!

This is for anyone who hates their cheap, stock outdoor kitchen grill.

You know the one. It has terrible hot spots, uneven heat, and is just a pain to cook on.

We finally got tired of dealing with ours and upgraded to the Blackstone 22” Tabletop Griddle with the hard cover. Having used it for a while now, it completely changed how we cook outside.

It has been perfect for making quick campsite breakfasts on the road and throwing down smash burgers. Honestly, switching to this was the best move we could have made for the outdoor setup.

If you’re ready to ditch your stock grill, I’ve included a link to this exact model on this reel (using it helps us, and doesn’t cost you anything more).

This kind of blew our mind, seeing a freshwater spring flow into a muddy Narrows in Zion National Park!

Would you hike The Narrows during rainy season?! 😅 We did, and it was an incredible experience. Were the waters clear and rocks easy to see? No way. In fact every step was a mystery. It was still really doable though (and the kids loved every second of it)! We didn’t rent any waders or special shoes or sticks. Dad did bring his trekking poles since he had a backpack child carrier on w/ 30 extra lbs. But frankly, we didn’t think any of that extra rental stuff was necessary. A luxury? Sure. But mission critical? Nah. We highly recommend this adventure, we’ll definitely be doing it again! There’s nothing like The Narrows in Zion National Park!

What hides beneath the surface of these pristine mountain lakes never disappoints. We love Lassen Volcanic National Park, it’s a total hidden gem. Great hiking, beautiful lakes, and volcano stuff! ⛰️🌋🌲

🚂 All aboard for a Wild West family adventure! 🤠

We rode the Grand Canyon Railway and WOW, it was more than just a train ride. Before boarding, the kids were captivated by cowboy bandits and a showdown with the sheriff.

Then the real magic started:
🎶 Live music strolling through the train
🍦 Root beer floats in the food car
🚨 A visit from the sheriff himself
💨 And the rare steam engine pulling our train—bucket list moment!

After arriving at the South Rim, we had lunch with a view at the Arizona steakhouse and soaked in the canyon’s edge. But just when we thought the adventure was over and we were headed home… the bandits struck again! 😱💰

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This was one of the most immersive, kid-friendly Grand Canyon experiences we’ve had—and we’d absolutely do it again.

👉 Save this for your next family trip west!

EVERY 5th wheel owner should be doing this before they pull away! Keep your truck, and your trailer, safe. It takes (quite literally) less than 2 minutes and you’ll save yourself a world of hurt (and repair expenses). So tell us: do you tug test? Or was this new news?
