My Stay in Negril, Jamaica 🇯🇲

A few highlights from my recent stay at Azul Beach Resort Negril—beautiful beaches, unforgettable sunsets, incredible food, and finally getting to experience a swim-up room for the first time. Safe to say I understand the hype now.

One thing that stood out was the hospitality. From welcome drinks upon arrival to assistance getting settled into our room, the experience felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

Travel has a way of reminding us how much there is to see beyond our daily routines. For me, it’s also a reminder to experience more of what God created beyond our own backyard.

If Jamaica is on your list, consider this your sign.

I used to think hotels like Fontainebleau Las Vegas were for people in a completely different tax bracket than me.

Not necessarily because I wanted “luxury” for the sake of it — but because I assumed experiences like this automatically came with unrealistic price tags attached to them.

A little fun fact about me: I’m also part of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community. I originally started researching Las Vegas hotel options because someone I know is competing at IBJJF World Master this September, and I wanted to help compare hotel rates for the trip.

While searching, I came across Fontainebleau Las Vegas — a Michelin Key award hotel on the Strip — and honestly, I was surprised to even SEE a property like that available through the travel programs and rates I have access to as a travel advisor.

That’s the part I think people misunderstand about travel advisors sometimes.

It’s not always about finding some unbelievable discount. Not every hotel is going to be dramatically cheaper. Sometimes the value is simply knowing there are better hotel options, added perks, or rates you may not have thought to check otherwise.

Same hotel. Same room. Same experience.

But occasionally, a very different outcome than what major booking sites are showing.

And that’s really the heart behind what I want this business to be.

Not “cheap travel.”
Not convincing people to overspend.
Not selling unrealistic luxury.

Just helping people realize there may be more possibilities out there than they thought.

Because sometimes luxury travel feels out of reach… until someone actually helps you look.
