Calling all general contractors 🦺🚧
We got the call from one of our GC partners to help tackle a large commercial clean out and demo support project in a 3 story building located in Downtown Napa.
This was phase 2 of the project. Phase 1 consisting of office furniture removal like desks, shelving, and other office materials was already completed so the demo crew could begin opening up the space.
For phase 2, the contractor already had large amounts of sheetrock and metal studs piled up from demolition. Our goal was simple. Move fast, clear space, and keep the project moving without slowing the crews down.
Due to the location being in busy Downtown Napa with limited parking and heavy business traffic, we started both days at 5AM to avoid disrupting nearby businesses and the public once the city started waking up.
All debris had to be transported from the 3rd floor utilizing the elevator to safely move materials down to the trailer. It definitely made the process more time consuming, but safety and efficiency always come first when handling large commercial jobs like this.
Over the course of 2 days we completed 4 full trailer loads of debris removal, separating materials properly and transporting sheetrock and metal studs to their respective recycling facilities. ♻️
Because of our fast turnaround, the contractor’s crew was able to stay ahead of schedule and begin remodeling work earlier than planned 💪🏼
