CRail 21112 CRail 21112 owns two pieces of historic railroad equipment that will be used in partnership w/the Adirondack Railroad. This N7D caboose served many miles.

Locomotive 1267 and N7D Caboose Conrail 21112 will be restored and allow many future riders to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks. CRail 21112 LLC owns two pieces of historic railroad equipment that will be used on the Adirondack Railroad. Built in 12-1953 for the Erie Railroad as C344 (Then EL) and finally Conrail 21112. With the help of friends, she'll be restored to Conrail Blue and allow many

future riders to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks. Built in 4-1957 for the Great Northern Railroad as their 718, EMD GP9 1267 Had a hard working career. Working for Burlington Northern, The Fort Smith Railroad, The Arkansas-Oklahoma Railroad, and now defunct New York & Greenwood Lake Railway. 1267 Was purchased by myself to ensure it's preservation and put her back to work. 1267 Will be based out of Utica, NY and used over the Adirondack RR.

I say June was very successful working forward on the 1267. The 24RL System has fully been removed and is ready for the 26L Upgrade to begin. All rotted floor pipes will be renewed.

The old Sardello Governor was also removed, in preparation for a newer one from Peaker Rail Services.

How It Started vs. How it’s Going.

Removed the entirety of the electrical cabinet on 1267 this summer. More work than anticipated but it got done. The original 1957 wiring, relays, air actuated contactors and other components will be getting replaced with more modern components.
