Pancakes and all the fixings especially for you on Saturday 8-9:30 am -- rain or shine! Come on out for a delicious pancake breakfast at EAA Chapter 448 at Cable Airport, Upland, CA on Saturday, December 7th. Breakfast at 8:00 am and a great presentation with Thebe Kowalski at 9:30 am.

If it's raining or too cold outside, we'll cook and eat inside where it's warm. No matter the weather, we will have fun talking aviation stuff. Come out and enjoy a great morning with delicious food, great people, and aviation fun!

P.S. We are adding hot chocolate to our already amazing line-up of wonderful yummy stuff. We have something for everybody, so come hang out with us on Saturday!

Aviation Family and Friends, come on out November 2nd to Cable Airport for EAA Chapter 448 Pancake Breakfast! Following breakfast, we have a great aviation presentation, "Coping With Low Altitude Emergencies" with Daniel Wotring of Aviator Flight Training. Breakfast is 8 am to 9:30 am with pancakes, eggs, sausage, bagels, coffee, juice, milk, real butter, cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly, tabasco -- something for everybody. Come early if you want first chance at the coffee and some socializing while setting up.

The weather is getting nicer and Pancake Breakfast at EAA Chapter 448 is on for Saturday, October 5th! Come join us at Cable Airport (north side - Benson Ave gate) for a great way to start your weekend. Breakfast is from 8:00 to 9:30.

We will have a great presentation following breakfast by Jerri Bergen, Owner and Chief Artist at Victory Girl and President of AAHS, who will be taking us on a photo and video journey with "Daks Over Normandy" -- the aerial commemoration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Many C-47s, C-53s, and DC-3s made the journey across the pond and back for this historic occasion. Join us to experience photos, videos, and an eyewitness account of this amazing accomplishment and the events and people they honored.

Come on out to EAA Chapter 448 at Cable Airport for food, friends, and fun on October 5th. Everybody is invited!

EAA Chapter 448 Business Meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, July 30th at 6:30pm at the clubhouse at Cable Airport. The Benson Avenue gate will be open. Please come and bring your ideas and let us know what your interests are.

Also, please join us this Saturday, August 3rd for our famous EAA Chapter 448 Pancake Breakfast at 8am followed by our special presentation about Sport Air Racing League.

We start setting up around 7am on Saturday, so if you want first chance at the coffee and conversation, come early. Everyone is invited, so invite your friends and neighbors. The Benson Avenue gate will be open for guest access.

Enjoy a great start to your weekend with food, friends, and fun. Help us spread the Spirit of Aviation. See you Saturday!

Sigh. . . . EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh is wrapping up. Tomorrow is officially the last day. Most of the EAA Chapter 448 and Cableite contingent is leaving today or has already left.

It was an amazing week, full of "only at Oshkosh" moments. It was also exhausting for those of us who try to wring the most out of each day. You just can't do everything, no matter how hard you try!

We hope to see you at Oshkosh next year!

Sport Air Racing League will be the subject of the presentation at the EAA Chapter 448 Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, August 3rd. The motto of SARL is "Racing for the Rest of Us".
