People ask me all the time “what brand outboards do you like best” the answer has always been Yamaha and here’s a couple of the reasons. If you just take care of the routine maintenance, they will usually keep going until they rot away from the inside and were engineered to be somewhat “Tech friendly” These were a pair of inline 200’s that came in last week for Annual’s and cooling systems. They still run and sound like new motors!

Haven’t posted in a bit, but here’s some fuel system parts from a job last week, a pair of Yamaha HPDI’s that we’ve been taking care of for the last 9 years. We pull the entire fuel system off every 3 years for maintenance and these old girls are still going offshore all the time.
