I had a stupid call from an individual yesterday. We have a small airport here.
This person was complaining about a yellow airplane flyjng just over the tree tops and disturbing their dogs. They said they thought it was against the law and they wanted it stopped. For one thing we have no say over who flys anywhere. Secondly this person must not have lived in the country farming area long. Third, since when is it against the law to spray fields. They have to fly low. Wise up and don't make stupid calls.

I am thinking of selling the STC to Safestart Starters since my husband has passed and no one wants to build them for me. If someone had their own machine shop and not have to rely on someone making parts, a nice profit could be made. I am asking $20,000 or best offer. I have all the blueprints . I am the inventor of the Safestart Starter System . I have an STC and a PMA and manufacture these at my airport in Elwell, Mi.I first put it on my 1940 Taylorcraft about five years ago and have never had to put a new battery in the system yet. The FAA said it was the biggest safety factor in 50 years and asked me to manufacture it. I am licensed for it to be put on 65-100Hp Continental and Lycoming engines. Here is just a couple I have installed but can put it on about 30 different planes. call at 989-463-1762 or Mike at 989-763-1300. Complete kits run $2400 including postage and handling in the US. We have them in most states here including Alaska, Canada, and Saudi Arabia. We also will install them at our facility
for $500. I am featured in the EAA magazine April 2009.
