This 2002 38’ San Juan at Kentmorr Marina in Stevensville, MD needed one 290-gallon center tank rebuilt, and our team completed the project in two weeks.

The most important part? The tank stayed right where it was.

No tank removal.
No cutting fiberglass.

Triton Liners recently completed another successful fuel tank restoration at Owl Creek Boat Works in Alva, Florida.

This 1993 Halvorsen 49’ came to us with two 400-gallon steel saddle tanks that needed serious attention after years of sludge buildup and corrosion. Over the course of three weeks, our team rebuilt both tanks, pressure tested them, and had them recertified. The result was a clean, serviceable fuel system ready to get back to work.

Boat: 2013 Sabre 42’SE

Location: Danversport Marina, Danvers, Massachusetts

Project duration: two weeks

Triton Liners rebuilt (2) 192-gallon saddle fuel tanks that had failed due to internal corrosion. The pictures below showcase the meticulous preparation of the boat before the rebuilding process commenced. However, the extent of the corrosion is evident, as the tanks had not been cleaned regularly.

Location: Bert Jabin Boat Yard, Annapolis, Maryland

Project duration: two weeks

Triton Liners recently rebuilt two 175-gallon saddle fuel tanks while the boat was on the hard. Typically, we prefer to perform the job while the boat is in the water to utilize the air conditioning, but due to the cooler weather conditions at the time of year, being in the water wasn’t necessary.

Boat: 2015 44’ Beneteau

Location: Bert Jabin Boat Yard, Annapolis, Maryland

Project duration: two weeks

Triton Liners successfully rebuilt (2) 185-gallon fuel tanks. The primary reason for the failure was internal corrosion. The job presented a slight challenge due to the presence of fuel filters, water pumps, and other equipment that required removal to access the tanks. After completing the rebuild, we reinstalled all the equipment, making only minor modifications.
