Laser cutting service, We can cut anything from paper to 1" thick acrylic on our Co2 machines, up to 1" thick steel plate on our 6K Fiber Laser plate machines. Our 6K, 6" diameter Fiber Tube Laser Machine will cut angle, I-beam, box tubing and more up to 1" thick wall. We also sell and service these machines.

This weeks update for the Jet Powered Cat Project, and Gulf Coast Marine Service.
Finally starting to make progress with the thrust vectoring operation of the J-85/CJ-610 Jet powered Cat Project with Iris Dynamics Ltd and ETI Systems engineer's in collaboration together to dial in the precision control of the actuators that will be a major part of the stabilization system at high speed. ETI Engineers have received one of the Orca-15-48 Magnetic Linear Actuator Motors from Iris and will be conducting control testing via the X-Y & Z Axis Joystick Control system that will send the operator requests to the INS & IMU stabilization computers to maintain safe control and operation of the Cat above a specific speed.
On the Gulf Coast Marine Service side I had to get back to my old roots and help revive a old 8V92 Detroit Diesel with a good tune-up and a inter-cooler cleaning, remove a problematic generator from a customers boat who had been having ongoing issues since 2020 and could never get it resolved by other techs. Unfortunately I am afraid it's going to be more expensive to repair than to just replace a 9 year old generator with a bad history.
On the fun side of my work I was able to help a friend re-design a part in a product that they frequently have to replace with a hopefully better material. With the help of the Tony Ray at Coastal Machine in Panama City Beach. Tony and his guys were able to quickly produce several prototypes for operation and wear testing of the part which was started yesterday 05/24/24.

Don't wait until the summer is here and it takes weeks to get your boat in for service. Here is before and after pics from schedule preventative maintenance of the raw water cooling system on one of our monthly inspected customers yachts who will enjoy a summer of cool running engines. Heat exchanges should be inspected and cleaned at least every 3 years.
