Neil and I are at the boat races in Bakersfield! One of the K boats flipped. We both go in the water to help roll the boat over and bring it onto the trailer. Neil stepped on something and went through the bottom of his foot. Neil had to go to the hospital 11 stitches later.
Today’s race day hopefully it’s a better day for Neil ! One of the safety managers drove Neil to the hospital and I stayed to help get the boat out. It took us over four hours. Neil got back last night about 10:30

I haven’t posted any updates this summer. We have been intensely focused on our work. I thought you might appreciate some photos from today’s task, which involves a 1950s Stephens model. We are in the process of pulling the motor to identify and repair the oil leak, as well as address transmission issues. As you can see from the last picture, the workspace was extremely tight, with Neil’s face barely visible. I hope everyone had a great season.

Neil and I just did an extensive cooling system clean out and repair job! We took the entire cooling system off Volvo 60 TMAD B both motors. One exchanger had the thermostats installed completely upside down.
We degreased the entire engine room and engines. Fixed many broken items put it all back together and she’s running great!
The point here is it’s very important although your engines are not getting hot or overheating. It’s important to service the cooling systems on your boat before something catastrophic happens. We were servicing the customers fuel system, and I noticed the cooling system in poor shape recommended it and he said let’s do it. Give us a call if you have any needs !
