Our amazing staff has churned out nearly 1,500 masks this week for a wide variety of clients including Northwest Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Inc., P.S., construction companies like Bellingham Bay Builders who want to get their staff back to work safely, the Western Washington University biology lab, and many more. The Community Food Co-op is also restocked at both locations!

We're amazed at the outpouring of community support for locally made masks, and thrilled to have hired two new temp sewers to help fill this need. Being able to create jobs during this tough time is a big bright spot for us!

By the end of the week we will have produced more than 1,500 masks and more than 100 procedure gowns! We're so happy to see gowns going to nursing homes, hospitals, and rehab centers. It's also great to see local businesses like Faber Construction along with Whatcom County Public Works and City of Bellingham Public Works Department picking up masks to help get their staff back to work on essential projects safely!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, LithtexNW in Bellingham, Washington, is using its skills and tool to precut materials for making face masks and isolation gowns.
