Had a wonderful day sailing yesterday on the Jeaneau 439 Freedom yesterday. Captain Warren steered us through heavy Labor Day weekend traffic! Freedom has some of the first sails I built and they're still pulling strong. Somehow forgot to take pictures!

Walking the docks I regularly see in mast furling mainsails that look like this. Lack of maintenance and UV damage have taken this sail to the point of no return. You could easily spend $2,000 plus having the sail flattened, replacing the UV cover, trimming the bad cloth off the leach and replacing the webs. On this Catalina 380 I could have you on the water for $2,400 with a brand new sail!
