Well Michiganders, its almost March 1st and we all know what that means. One month till boat slip contracts are officially in swing but for all the people fishing it means time to start ripping lips! It's still not to late to get that last minute tune up or small project done before it floats. March has pretty open schedule for me and you don't want to be that guy stuck at the ramp with a boat that won't start. Don't be afraid to reach out if you have questions and happy fishing and boating!

I know I'm a little late for this but it's a new year and another trip around the sun. I do have some news as now I can do skeg repairs (on lower units/drives) in house. The schedule for the next month (February) is getting pretty full but March is open for those last minute repairs/upgrades before the boats start going in. Hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays and new year.

Well as most people have noticed, labor day came and went. I hope everyone had a safe and fun one. Which also is a reminder that the end of boating season is coming upon us and just as a reminder don't forget to get your boat serviced and if your storing outside winterized. I say that because I have had to replace a few engines this years because of them not being winterized properly. Happy boating for the next month or so everyone.

Well it's officially the middle of boating season here and just a reminder that just because you replaced your impeller doesn't mean you won't have over heating issues. Pulled this thermostat out of a outboard yesterday, and it's going up on the wall of shame for lack of maintenance. Sometimes it's worth taking that extra little step as a cheap insurance policy, Happy boating to everyone and have a safe 4th of July.

As we near the start of boating season here in the mitten it's not too late to get those last second items taken care of. These anodes should of been replaced a few years back but lack of maintenance meant we got to them this year and just before real damaged occurred to the out drives. They could of potentially caused a drive to replaced but we got to them just in the nick of time.

Yes impellers are recommended as a yearly item but are often neglected, this one was packed in the heat exchanger and by the looks of it had been there for a while. Things like this can cause long term issues like overheating and engine failure.
