Finally, things are starting to thaw on our rivers, lakes, creeks that have been iced 🧊over for days. Inaccessible ramps and docks can now be cleared to our vessels and professional commercial salvage recovery can safely resume again by us. 2025 was a crazy year for us all. The Ohio River flood waters impacted numerous clients. Carrier Marine Services performed multiple tasks throughout the year of 2025. From washing away the river silt from parking lots and buildings, restoring electrical power & electrical device replacement to businesses and residential homes directly impacted by the flood, and vessel recovery across the state of Kentucky. The one below in the photos was very challenging with extreme water temperature below freezing that our divers had to endure. It took place right next the Louisville Metro Fire & Police Rescue Vessels and River Patrol Station on the Ohio River.
