Today the Boat School was closed in recognition of Indigenous Peoples' Day. It’s a privilege to be teaching about watercraft in this beautiful waterfront location that reflects the stories of so many people, including approximately 10,000 years of stories of the S’Klallam people.

Disaster narrowly averted. This was in the feed circuit to a 1500 Watt water heater. That's 14/3 solid splices with wire nuts to 10/2 marine stranded DC cable. The water heater wasn't grounded and you can see the charcoal through the hole burned through the tape wrap.
