Capela Transport, Inc. (CTI), established in 2000, and incorporated in 2017, is a growing company led by 3rd generation driver, Dennis Capela and wife, Amy, of Union City, PA. Perseverance and excellent service have made CTI a success story. What began with Dennis and one truck, has grown into an entire fleet.

The main terminal building is located in Corry, PA and a satellite terminal is locate

d in Warren, PA. The company has also expand into the southeast United States.

It is a great privilege to announce our nomination of Kermit “Kerm” Brunner for the 2026 NASTC - National Association of Small Trucking Companies Driver of the Year. Kerm is a 1st generation driver with 45 years of driving experience and 4,680,000 accident-free miles.

He has been a part of the Capela Transport team for 3 years and 9 months. From the moment he walked through our doors he’s had a major impact on our entire team. Although he is relatively quiet and reserved he serves as a role model day in and day out to not just our drivers but also to our shop/office staff. Kerm defines “old school” trucking and represents everything that Capela stands for all while taking pride in everything he does.

Kerm is hard-working, loyal and kind. He’s a put your nose to the grindstone and get the job done with no complaint kind of guy and we hear he has a pretty fantastic sense of humor!
