Open water season is finally here! Andrew and the crew were out today starting installs. They will be working long days to get everything in as fast as they can, but please be patient and know that they are doing the best they can! We hope you all have a wonderful summer on the water!

While we woke up to snowflakes falling this morning, 2026 open water season is approaching and the crew is geared up and ready!
The past few low water years have presented their issues, we will be doing our best to account for spring time lake levels when installing. Make sure that any special requests are emailed over to [email protected] before we start installing so we can do our best to accommodate.
We are about 3 weeks away from average ice out and we will be starting the day the first lake opens up!

*Official requests need to be made via email (not facebook comments)

We hope everyone has a had a nice summer and as fall approaches we wanted to post our deadlines for the lakes we service. Please note that we take out many of them prior to these dates and it is best to prepare your docks and lifts for removal when you are done using your lakeshore equipment instead of waiting until the deadline.
Docks - remove any accessories or decking you do not want to be charged for.
Lifts - remove covers and crank lifts into the up position.
Storage location- if you need a specific spot left open please be sure to make a note where not to put it or use marking flags where you would like lifts set.
Enjoy the rest of the open water season and reach out with any questions.
Pricing and deadlines are also posted on our website.

Happy spring everyone! Andrew and his crew were finally able to find some open lakes today to officially kick off the spring installation season! Please remember, the crew is working sun up to sun down during the week to ensure everything gets installed as quickly as possible. Andrew is hoping to have most docks and lifts installed by opener, but there will be a few lakes he will not get to until the week after. We appreciate your understanding during this busy time of the year and we hope you have a wonderful summer. As always, if we removed your items last fall, we will be putting them back in this spring. If there are any changes that need to be made, please email Andrew ASAP. Thanks!

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved brother and invaluable member of the crew, Blake Wheeler Herman.

Blake had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up any room. He was an incredibly hard worker and took pride in everything he did, no matter how big or small the task was. When he wasn't hard at work on the barge, you would find him hanging out with friends and family, who he loved more than anything. He loved spending time outdoors and was always ready for the next adventure.

Please keep our family, Blake's family and friends, and all those that loved him in your thoughts as we navigate this unimaginable loss. We will carry his memory forever, but our hearts will never be the same. We love you Blake!

We hope you all had a wonderful summer and are enjoying this warm weather. However, please consider this a gentle reminder of the 2024 deadlines we have for fall removal to ensure Andrew and the crew can get everything out in a timely manner. The deadlines can also be found on our website. We hope you have a great fall and we look forward to seeing you in the spring!

It is with heavy hearts that we begin to mourn the unexpected loss of our beloved brother and member of the crew, Deven Wheeler.

Deven will be missed more than words can describe, but he will be remembered for not only being a vital member of the crew but for his passion of the outdoors. He loved the water and especially the off-season where he spent his time enjoying snowboarding, snowmobiling and ice fishing.
He had a passion for woodworking and started a wooden replica of the barge. He had plans to one day take over the crew and operate the barge himself. Deven will forever be missed and will always be in our hearts and on our minds.

It has been a tough holiday season for us, as Uncle Kenny, who was one of our first crew members before retiring a few years ago, also passed away recently.

We wish everyone a Happy New Year and thank you for all the thoughts and prayers as our family goes through the grieving process.
