Okay, if you’re dreaming about a destination wedding, can we talk about a few things I really want you to think about before choosing your resort? 🤍

I know it’s SO easy to fall in love with a beautiful ceremony setup on Pinterest, but there’s a little more to think about!

✨ First, think about your guests. I know it’s your wedding day (and it should absolutely feel like YOU!), but you’ll also want to consider their budgets, travel options, and what their experience will look like.

✨ Second, look at the whole resort, not just the wedding space. Think about the restaurants, beach, atmosphere, and what you’ll all be doing when you’re not celebrating. You’re creating an entire experience, not just one day!

✨ And third, don’t wait until the last minute to figure out the travel details. Choosing a resort, understanding the wedding requirements, and helping your guests navigate their trip all take planning.

As a former wedding planner turned travel advisor, I love helping couples think through these details because I know how quickly wedding planning can get overwhelming!

You deserve to be excited about this season, not stressed trying to figure out every little thing on your own.

A little detail that can make a BIG difference on your next beach vacation 🌴

Imagine heading to the beach without having to wake up early to claim your spot!

At this adults-only resort in Aruba, guests can reserve a beach umbrella with two chaise lounges for the following day. Such a simple thing, but it makes planning a relaxing beach day that much easier!

With a beautiful stretch of Eagle Beach and a peaceful atmosphere geared toward couples, it’s the kind of place I’d recommend to someone looking for a slower-paced, romantic getaway💕

And this is why I look beyond pretty pictures when helping my clients choose a resort. The little details, the atmosphere, and what your days will actually look like all matter when finding the right fit for YOU.

Because the best resort isn’t necessarily the most popular one. It’s the one that fits the vacation you want to have🤍

I’ve been wanting to share this one because I LOVE how this Italy honeymoon came together🇮🇹

12 days….Rome, Florence + Sorrento

We started with the history and iconic sights in Rome, slowed things down with food + w**e in Florence and Tuscany, and then finished on the coast with time in Capri and Sorrento.

But one of my favorite parts of the itinerary? Leaving room for nothing

A honeymoon doesn’t need to be packed from morning to night. Sometimes the best days are the ones where you sleep in, wander around, have a long lunch, and just enjoy being somewhere beautiful together🤍

That’s really what I love about custom travel planning. It’s not about trying to fit everything into one trip. It’s about figuring out what makes sense for you and creating an itinerary that actually feels good to travel.

This is the kind of Italy honeymoon I’d love to plan again and again🤍

Day 3 in Punta Cana 🌴☀️ Trainings, networking, yummy food, beautiful wedding setups, and celebrating our amazing Travel With Awestruck team at the awards! Such a fun day, and I can’t wait for Day 4! ✨

Day 2 in Punta Cana was a good one 🌴

Started the day with a sunrise attempt, amazinggg breakfast, pool time + a beach massage (best money spent!), then it was time to switch resorts!

A quick stop at the W Punta Cana before finally making it to Hard Rock Punta Cana. Resort tours, snacks, drinks, churros, a welcome party, and lots of dancing later… my feet are officially DONE 😂

So excited to show you more of this trip! ✈️

Travel days don’t always go according to plan… and yes, that includes travel advisors too 😂

A few bumps in the road, but I FINALLY made it to Punta Cana!

And honestly… I LOVE this resort. I’m so sad I only have one night here, but I’m also really excited to see the other resorts while I’m here and share them with you guys!

And I’m even more excited that I get to do this trip with my girl Travel by Nikki !!! 🥰
