JTLX HO Locomotive Group Welcome to JTLX
A fictitious HO scale RR Leasing Company and home to the Sandy Terminal Railroad

After a number of years of service on the Bacardi and Northern (Model) Railroad, Jordan began to think of taking on a new challenge, owning his own fleet of ALCo locomotives. Since then, with the guidance from B&N CEO Steve T., Jordan began his search to find some locomotives. After reading a number of railroad books, he settled on a Delaware & Hudson inspired Paint Scheme and logo, liking the col

or blue. Since then, JTLX has acquired three ALCo locomotives leased for service on the Bacardi & Northern, as well as other (model) railroads. Ultimately, this allows Jordan to travel to any HO model railroad and have a semi-realistic locomotive on that railroad, as a leaser unit can be found anywhere! Note: Locomotives are not actually available to lease for your model railroad.

We have begun scanning Tony Steele's phenomenal collection of about 17,000 slides that he graciously donated to us late last year. Tony was the Chief Engineer on the D&H and has some incredible images of rolling stock and right-of-way that could only be taken with his unique access. Once they are scanned, cataloging them and uploading them to our digital archives will begin. This will be a long project, so stay tuned!

Our Story

Since then, JTLX has acquired three ALCo locomotives leased for service on the Bacardi & Northern, as well as other (model) railroads.

Ultimately, this allows Jordan to travel to any HO model railroad and have a semi-realistic locomotive on that railroad, as a leaser unit can be found anywhere!
