Need a 15 yard dumpster? Book one for December, before this weekend, to lock in the price at current rates, and get a second week free. Price is going from $600 to $650 when you pay upfront and I’m adding a $50 fee for any business that wants to be invoiced after the fact instead of handing me a check at delivery.

Good news folks, we have just replaced our aged out 10 yard size containers with brand new ones. They were 20+ years old when I bought them 10 years ago, and I could only patch them so many more times. Our 15 yard container inventory is strong, and I’m going to take a break from offering the 20 yard size. This summer was more like 3 years worth of wear and tear on them and I have decided that they are just shot. Hopefully a new line up next summer. Thanks! Nate Guay.

I just took a Dumpster to Barre, which is way out of my normal zone, for a special friend, a person who is very giving of his time in service to the lord and to the country, (incase he didn’t know it’s noticed) for his mother in laws home. Had a chance to receive prayer from this rapid response team. I went to hurricane Katrina with this group many years ago, and I am very greatfull to see that they are here. I am greatful that they laid hands on me and prayed. I needed it today. God is at work in Vermont. God is always Good.

7/15/23 is the last day to bring your bags of trash to the drop off before the price increase.
I have been putting it off because I think of you all as friends, and I know you come down in part to be responsible with your finances and I try to honor that. But the reality is I can’t shelter everyone from the market conditions. $8 per bag seems like a lot, and it is. But keep in mind in accordance with sate law, you are getting your recycling for “free,” and “Free Recycling” is an increasingly expensive service to provide. Realistically you still pay the same $3.75 per bag as 5 years ago, only now you also pay for recycling, just that it’s built into the price of a bag of trash.
I’m not saying it’s wrong or it’s right, or worth it or not, that’s up to everyone to decide for themselves, but it’s my opinion that recycling costs are up to build the new sorting facility that was voted on and approved last fall. It’s to bad when asked before the vote If prices would go up they didn’t know then, but I guess now we have our answer. And it’s also my opinion that the price will go up again, as Vermont follows Californias lead on everything these days and we are still way less expensive than parts of California.
I know that Vermonts goal is to push people into recycling to save money, but I fear in the end we will see more and more trash dumped on the sides of the roads, burned in barrels, fed to the bears, buried in the back yard, whatever... I hope that I am wrong, I hope the price increase is good for Recycling, I have been wrong before, I just don’t think the entire state can be managed as if it is Burlington, this is still a rural state in places. The Jericho Drop Off is open this Saturday Memorial Day weekend, and closed the following Saturday the 3’rd of June.
Happy kick off to the gardening and camping season, and let’s never forget those who served and who never came home, and also their friends and families.

The drop off will be open 8-12 Saturday 2/4 in Jericho!
About 3 years In we had our busiest day ever to that point on a -20 morning. The common theme? It was to cold to do anything else! 8 people brought me a warm drink that day ❤️ don’t worry I will have my thermos with me!

Current Roll-Off dumpster Rates for Underhill, Westford, Jericho, Jeff, Fairfax, Essex.

10 yard first 7 days first ton (2,000. Lbs.) $425
15 Yard 7 days, 2 ton $600
20 yard …. 2.5 ton. $700.
Extra days still $7.

Subject to change, I already need to go up more but I’m trying not to do it all at once. Obviously fuel is out of control, but my cost to purchase replacement dumpsters and maintain the old ones has tripled to quadrupled. I would have never thought I’d be paying over $700 for a cracked windshield ect.. but here we are. Expect another $50 per dumpster by August. Thank you for your understanding.
