About us:
Konastone Services is based in Tyngsboro and works throughout Massachusetts. The company provides transportation for clients to and from non-emergency medical appointments including but not limited to clinics, dialysis, surgery, check ups, physical therapy, and chemotherapy. Clients are in Metro Boston, North, Central and South East Massachusetts. Konastone takes special pride in being reliable, punctual and professional and expects employees to reflect these company values.
Drivers receive access to a fleet of well maintained vehicles (sedans, vans and wheelchair vans) for company use.
The Position:
Konastone Services is actively seeking both FULL-time and PART-time drivers.
You will work with a team of dispatchers, drivers and monitors. As a driver, you will be transporting clients to and from an array of non-emergency medical appointments. You must demonstrate an ability to adapt to changing schedules. You must also be capable of maintaining a professional attitude while working with some persons diagnosed with behavioral disorders and other disabilities. On the job training is provided.
Compensation begins at $14/HOUR and INCREASES based on experience and specialization
Business hours are Monday through Sundays ( may start as early as 5 am or may run late) - overtime available and encouraged
2 weekend shifts per month required
Pre-employment requirements:
- 19+ YEARS OLD having held a valid license for 3 YEARS or more
- Applicant’s good RMV record
- Pass CORI background check and fingerprinting (per MA state regulations)
- Pass DRUG screen and PHYSICAL
- Cell phone - need to be reachable by dispatch through talk and text
- GPS
