The Regional Office of Education #11 is open today and ready to serve our community.

If any residents, families, or workers are in need of bottled water, food, hygiene kits, or a place to charge electronic devices, please stop by between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Additionally, ROE #11 staff will be out in the community delivering lunch to cleanup crews, law enforcement, and all those working hard to restore our town. Our good friends at Chick-fil-A Mattoon are donating sandwiches and Charleston Rural King has donated plenty of water.

Most importantly, if you or someone you know has been displaced by last night’s storm and has children in need of temporary housing, please contact our office immediately. We are here to help.

ATTENTION ARCOLA FAMILIES!

Our city bus route has officially reached capacity. We will now begin a waitlist for any additional registrations.

If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please complete registration as soon as possible. We will contact families directly if/when spots become available.

Just to clarify, this is not the Preschool bus!

📣 Registration Updates 📣

A few helpful reminders as registrations continue coming in:

• You do NOT need to submit separate forms for each child. After entering your first child, you will have the option to add additional children to the same registration.

• If registering on an iPhone or Android device, you may need to refresh the page for all fields to load correctly. Registration works much smoother from a computer if possible.

🚌 **Arcola City Bus Update:**
The Arcola city bus is nearing capacity. Once all spots are filled, we will begin a waitlist and contact families to let them know they have been added.

Please register sooner rather than later if you would like to guarantee your spot for the school year!

• Online registration works best from a computer, although it can be completed on a mobile device.

• All students must register each year — previous bus spots are not guaranteed.

• Rural students must also register annually.

• Registration fees are due prior to the first day of school.

• Families on a pay route will receive an email with payment information within one week of completing registration.

• Annual registration helps ensure we have accurate contact and transportation information for routing and communication purposes.
