SOME BUSES ARE JUST BUSES… AND THEN THERE’S BUS 40🚌❤️
There is something incredibly special about this bus to me.
Brent and I traveled ALL the way to Las Vegas to bring this beauty home. We drove through the mountains, across states, through long stretches of highway, and all the way back to Illinois — just the two of us. ❤️
Somewhere along that journey, this bus stopped being “just another bus” and became my favorite. 🥹
It has officially entered the Gould & Wilson fleet as BUS 40, but around here, we call it Clark. ❤️🚌
And now, after all those miles and all those memories, Clark got the most incredible FIRST CHRISTENING we could have ever imagined. 😭
Last night, this beautiful 84 -passenger beast was es**rted into town by the fire department — lights flashing and sirens blaring 🚨 — all the way back to the school.
And the cargo being carried?
THE MOST PRECIOUS CARGO OF ALL. ❤️
My husband.
My son.
And the entire East Prairie Jr. High Hornets baseball team. ⚾️🐝
The 2026 CLASS 2A REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!!! 🏆💛🖤
I don’t think I could have written a better first chapter for this bus if I tried.
We purchased this bus to accommodate our growing basketball and cheer squads this year. Clark is the biggest bus in our fleet — 84 passengers! And while we expected Clark to haul plenty of athletes, cheerleaders, and memories…

And what a way to christen Clark.
To watch Clark come rolling into town with the fire department es**rt, lights and sirens, knowing that my husband was behind the wheel and my son was sitting among those boys…
I was a MESS. 😭😭😭
Because this isn’t just about a bus.
It’s about the journey Brent and I took to bring Clark home.
It’s about the miles we’ve already put behind the wheel.
It’s about the memories that have already been made.
It’s about the memories that haven’t even happened yet.
It’s about my husband doing what he loves.
It’s about my son growing up around these buses.
It’s about our company, our family, and the community we are so incredibly blessed to serve.
And last night, Clark carried something far more valuable than passengers it can hold.
Clark carried PRIDE. ❤️
Clark carried CHAMPIONS. 🏆
Clark carried a group of young men who worked, battled, believed, and earned the title of 2026 Class 2A Regional Champions. ⚾️🐝
And Clark brought them home like champions should be brought home. 🚨🏆
I already loved this bus before Clark ever made it back to Illinois.
But after last night?
Clark will forever hold an even bigger piece of my heart. ❤️
Welcome to the fleet, Bus 40.
You’re officially my favorite.
And I have a feeling Clark is going to carry A LOT of memories before we’re through.
