Attention All!

For the 2026-2027 school year, South Lewis CSD will be officially opening for students! We can’t wait to start transporting all of our Falcon friends!

MOTORISTS: take note that school buses are returning to the road. This means that your regular morning commute may be impacted. School buses will begin to settle into their normally scheduled time over the next few days. After settling in, the schedule will become set and you can rest assured that a school bus will be at the same spot the very next day (within a 5+/- minute window), Monday - Friday until June. If a bus is displaying amber 🟡 lights - you must begin to start slowing down and preparing to stop for the bus. If the bus is displaying red 🔴 lights and two stop signs - you must stop! There is never a legitimate excuse to pass a stopped school bus, not to mention - it is illegal!

Q: Want to avoid having to stop for a school bus?
A: It’s very simple… start your travel 5 minutes earlier. By doing so, you very well could be preventing a tragedy.

In the meantime, our behind-the-scenes team will be in the office tomorrow morning ready to assist with the transportation of your student(s) however we can. Feel free to reach out to us by dialing (315) 348-2590, or send us an email! [email protected].

We’ll be seeing you very soon!

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!
We can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

🚌 Attention Parents & Guardians! 🚌

Has your routine changed? To ensure all students arrive safely and on time, please call the Transportation Office if you need to update or modify your student's bus schedule or drop-off location.

Why call? Doing so assists us with ensuring our routes reflect proper information and therefore allow you to know exactly when the bus is coming!

Note: Any temporary change (for example: going to a friends house on Friday afternoon) still requires a bus note to be sent to your students school office, not the Transportation Office.

⏰ Summer Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30AM to 3:30PM

Hello South Lewis!

We're excited about summer programming starting tomorrow, July 13th! Motorists, buses will be returning to the road, so please be vigilant for the flashing lights during your morning and afternoon commutes! Parents, for the safety of all, please keep children 10-15 feet back, away from the roadway while waiting for the bus!

We've been made aware that some families have not received their transportation postcards. As usual, we mailed the postcards one week prior to the start of programing. Unfortunately - we have no control over when USPS delivers your mail. Even though the postcard hasn't arrived yet, there are alternative ways to receive your students transportation schedule.

1.) My Ride K-12 transportation app: the most up to date transportation schedule is always available via the app. If you already have an account established, please feel free to view the information here.
2.) Email: [email protected]. Please send us an email with your name, your students name and your address. After verifying your information, we will then be able to send your students transportation schedule. Emails will be monitored until approximately 8:00PM this evening, and again tomorrow morning - once our office opens at 6:00AM.
3.) Phone: As always, you can contact our office at (315) 348-2590 and leave a message - we will be returning calls as soon as possible, after our office opens tomorrow morning at 6:00AM.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our office using the information above.

Otherwise, we'll be looking out for you at the bus stop tomorrow morning!
