Opportunities That Go Beyond the Driver's Seat!

Growth looks different for every driver, and for Mark, that growth led him to becoming a Road Trainer at Melton.

Mark started with Melton in July 2013 and has spent the last 2.5 years helping new drivers gain confidence on the road. Since becoming a trainer, he has passed along his knowledge, experience, and patience to around 20 trainees.

For Mark, one of the best parts of training is hearing new drivers start talking about how they’ll do things in their own truck. That’s when he knows they’re beginning to take ownership of their career.

His story is a reminder that Melton offers more than a driving job—it offers opportunities to grow, lead, and make an impact on the next generation of professional drivers.

Today, we celebrate an absolute legend.

After 25 years of service, Chris is officially retiring from Melton. Since joining the company in March 2001, he has made an incredible impact on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him.

Chris is one of the coolest people you'll ever meet—always calm, always genuine, and always ready with a great story. More importantly, he has cared deeply about this company and the people who make it special. His dedication, leadership, and friendship have left a lasting mark on Melton.

During his career, Chris logged an incredible 2,868,615 miles, a testament to his dedication, professionalism, and commitment over the last 25 years.

Today was filled with hugs, admiration, memories, and a well-deserved retirement plaque as we honored his remarkable career.

Congratulations, Chris, and thank you for 25 incredible years. We wish you nothing but happiness, adventure, and plenty of time to enjoy the next chapter. You'll always be a part of the Melton family.
