Our comment to
Ward One’s humanitarian stand supporting Fare Free SunTran City of Tucson public transportation. 🚌 🚌 🚌
Complete agree to maintain free of charge transportation. Riders that depend heavily to transect our city need our support.
Creating a charge system cost a great deal of public money. 💰 💰 💰
Please weigh the cost realistically, add in the Study
$$$ expenses.
Riders will be forced to be connected to a phone 📱and cellular $ networks or not have access to ride.
Is that what the City of Tucson elected leadership wants?
To further burden lower income constituents, while adding costs to the budget for a ticketing infrastructure?
Those that choose, and are depended to Sun Tran ride are supporting values that confirm the City of Tucson’s wise & committed decisions for environmentally sustainable buses and vans.
Sun Tran Route 21 Silverbell North
I’m working to see the route extended to City of Tucson’s
Danny Lopez Park and Silverbell Golf Course.
Did you know?
Both public access properties that are the only city golf & park properties that are not served by Sun Tran bus stops?
With Pima Animal Care Center located between the City of Tucson locations, it’s a win win for Pima County pets, in additional volunteers and guests + staff and subcontractors to have options to travel safer along Silverbell. 🐾💛🐾
Public Safety matters. 🚧
Think of the benefits to students, seniors, families to have access to all three locations.
Route 21 now ends 2 miles short - I’ve always wondered why?
With repeated requests for this extended route, now is the time to open up the possibilities!!
Optimism❣️
Thank you
Ward 1 we sure could use your support in this 🚌 project.
