The wait is over! Join us at Truckee Tahoe Airport today from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m for a day packed with thrilling performances and family-friendly fun. Remember, admission and parking are FREE, so bring everyone along for an unforgettable experience!

Had a great practice today in Truckee CA for the Truckee Tahoe Family Festival and Airshow. Today Anna Serbinenko, Sky Dancer, Vicki Benzing and I practiced in the thin air here and the Navy Seals Leap Frogs did a practice jump. Good work by all with AirBoss Gale Rawitzer. We had 250 school kids on site for their last day of school. We practice again tomorrow! Show on Saturday. Come on out!!! Photo from the Rexburg show last weekend credit Les Hill.! Discover the magic of gliding with the Truckee Tahoe Soaring Association (TTSA), a world-renowned gliderport located at the Truckee Tahoe Airport in Truckee, California. As a 501c3 non-profit, TTSA offers scenic adventure flights, top-notch instruction, youth STEM education programs, and comprehensive pilot services from mid-May through September.

TTSA's mission is to advance the science, art, and safety of soaring flight in Northern California and Nevada. They focus on inspiring youth to pursue careers in STEM, nurturing the next generation of pilots, scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. With a rich history dating back to the 1960s, TTSA has evolved to become the premier glider training and flight facility in the region.

Thank you, Sierra Sun, for helping us honor Brigadier General Clarence “Bud” Anderson, a World War II Triple Ace Fighter Pilot, who recently passed away at the age of 102. Get ready for the STEM Expo, sponsored by the Truckee Grocery Outlet! Our STEM Expo is a must-see at the Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival.

There will be two STEM tents with more than 15 major exhibitors, including California Aeronautical University. The week prior to the air show, more than 150 local students will get to meet the performers, see a parachute packing demo by the Leap Frogs and view exclusive air show practice!

Meet Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival performer Anna Serbinenko!

Anna is a Class 1 aerobatic instructor who takes her passion for flying to incredible heights. Born in Ukraine and now calling Canada home, Anna has a unique journey that spans the globe—from Switzerland to Brazil to Germany—before settling in North America. She flies airshows coast-to-coast, runs a charter operation and flight school, and teaches commercial and aerobatic pilots and instructors. Anna has a PhD in financial mathematics and fluency in seven languages. She finds her true freedom while flying, which she calls "Sky Dancing."

Meet Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival performer Vicky Benzing!

California-born Vicky is a true aviation powerhouse as an accomplished pilot, skydiver, aerobatic performer, and air racer. Her passion for the skies began in childhood, and despite a detour into the high-tech industry, she returned to her love of aviation, mastering aerobatics and becoming a force in air racing. Vicky's accomplishments include being the fastest woman racer ever at the National Championship Air Races and the only woman to race in three classes. Catch her breathtaking performance at the Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival on Saturday, June 22!
