We actually had our fly-in this past Saturday even with the less than ideal weather conditions. Thank you to all the "brave" pilots that joined us! I know some of you had to weave through the weather to get here. We had another fun and safe event. See everybody next year.

Our Fall Fly-in this year will be Saturday, October 27th. We'll be serving our home cooked "Southern Gourmet" breakfast and our "Low Country Boil" for lunch. Ben Chapman will be on the stage again at 12pm for his last performance with us before he heads off to Nashville. Please register at the Blue Mountain Air Park website. Register even if you're thinking about attending ... it helps us figure out how much food to purchase and prepare. Breakfast is at 9:00AM, Flour bag drop at 10:30AM, and Lunch at 12:30PM. Camping is available for pilots Friday night.

Congratulations DAN BUDDE! You built your own airplane, trained in the airplane you built, and finally completed your check-ride and earned your Private Pilot Certificate in the airplane you built. You definitely exemplify the spirit of aviation. Job well done sir!

We decided to reschedule the fly-in due to a high chance of rain and thunderstorms. The new fly-in date in Saturday, June 30th.

We now have live music for the fly-in on the 26th. Ben Chapman is a local singer/songwriter who covers country, classic rock and r&b. He will be performing for about 2.5 hours starting around noon. Also, breakfast will start at 8:30AM.
