💪 TWO HEAVY SPECIALTY MOVES. ONE DAY. ONE HARDWORKING CREW!

What a day for Cole & Case Moving!

We started the day helping a valued returning customer with garage and storage moving, along with one of our more challenging hot tub relocations yet!

Tight spaces, uneven terrain, landscaping, and multiple obstacles made this anything but an ordinary move. It took careful planning, specialized equipment, plenty of muscle, and great teamwork to get everything safely into place.

But our day wasn’t over yet!

Shortly after wrapping up, we received a last-minute call to relocate a heavy commercial vault into a brand-new banking facility here in Traverse City ahead of its grand opening!

We’ve moved plenty of heavy safes, but this was our very first bank vault relocation, and that’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of!

It was also our first opportunity to put our new hydraulic moving dollies to work, equipment we invested in specifically for our growing Safe & Vault Division.

With the right equipment, experience, and teamwork, our crew got the vault safely relocated and positioned that same afternoon.

Two completely different specialty moves, both completed in one day!

Days like these remind us how far we’ve come and how much we’re continuing to grow. Every challenging job, every investment, and every bit of experience helps us take on bigger opportunities.

A huge shoutout to our crew for their hard work and dedication, and a sincere thank-you to our customers for continuing to trust us!

From residential and commercial moving to hot tubs, heavy safes, vaults, and specialty relocations, we’re proud to keep expanding what we can offer Northern Michigan.

Brick by brick, we’re building something special! 💪

Two jukeboxes. Two different decades. One incredible specialty move!

Yesterday, our crew headed to Kewadin, Michigan, to move a couple of incredible pieces of history!

First up, a vintage jukebox from the 1960s weighing approximately 385 pounds, carefully moved down a full flight of stairs. Then, a beautiful jukebox from the 1950s, weighing around 200 pounds with its internal components removed, brought right back up!

Tight clearances, delicate glass, heavy equipment, and some serious teamwork. Exactly the kind of specialty work we love taking on at Cole & Case Moving!

But what made this job even better was our customer, Glenn.

Glenn has been following our business and watching us grow since the very beginning. When he needed these unique pieces moved, he specifically reached out to us because of the reputation we’ve been building.

That means a lot.

Glenn was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we walked away with more than just another satisfied customer. We walked away with a new friend.

Thank you, Glenn, for following our journey since the beginning and trusting our crew with these incredible pieces of history!

Huge shoutout to our guys for another outstanding specialty move. Proud of this crew and everything we’re building together.

More than just moving. We’re building relationships, earning trust, and making a name for ourselves one job at a time.

Brick by brick.

Another safe move in the books.

Today’s job was a full 26’ truck unload, including two heavy Browning gun safes safely moved and placed exactly where the customer wanted them.

Safe moving has become one of our specialties. We handle them regularly throughout Northern Michigan, and we’ve built a reputation for taking on the heavy items many moving companies simply won’t touch. Safes require experience, proper equipment, patience and a crew that understands how quickly things can go wrong. We never rush them.

When it comes to moving safes, Cole & Case Moving is one of Northern Michigan’s go-to crews.

Full household moves. Safes. Pianos. Heavy specialty items.

Beaver Island bound!

This one put a lot of our specialty moving experience to work.

Safe moving is one of our specialties, and it’s something we take a lot of pride in. A lot of moving companies shy away from gun safes or won’t touch them at all. We move them regularly, from standard residential gun safes to some seriously heavy ones. This move included two fireproof gun safes, with one coming down a tight upstairs staircase.

The safes weren’t the biggest we’ve moved, but anyone who has handled one knows weight is only part of the challenge. They’re heavy, awkward and unforgiving, and moving them safely takes the right crew, equipment and experience.

Then came the centerpiece of this load: an 18-foot ocean-ready sailing kayak.

Getting something 18 feet long into a moving truck alongside an entire household takes some planning. We strategically positioned and supported the kayak, then rigged and secured it using multiple anchor points to keep it stable and protected for the trip. From there, we maximized the remaining space and built the rest of the load around it.

We also handled two stackable mechanic toolboxes, a half dozen heavy cast iron pots, and the rest of the household belongings making the trip with this family.

Two gun safes. An 18-foot sailing kayak. Mechanic toolboxes. Cast iron. A full household.

Heavy, awkward, oversized or unusual, this is the kind of work we take pride in. It’s not just about getting something onto a truck. It’s knowing how to handle it, protect it, rig it and secure it properly.

Glad we could help get this family safely loaded up and on their way to Beaver Island!

Pretty cool one today and the perfect first move for our new moving truck!

Our crew had the opportunity to move this beautiful Tiger Oak upright piano in South Boardman and deliver it to American Legion Post #463, where it was generously donated to its new home.

This thing was built to last. Incredibly sturdy, very heavy, and an all-around awesome piece. Getting it into the Legion with the exterior stairs took some planning, teamwork, and careful handling, but specialty moves like this are exactly the kind of challenge we enjoy.

Everyone involved was absolutely great to work with, and we really appreciate the opportunity and the trust placed in our crew to safely move such a unique piece.

Couldn’t have picked a better job to put the new truck to work for the first time!

Moving a piece of history.

Our crew recently had the opportunity to move this beautiful 1908 antique china cabinet, more than a century old and still in incredible condition.

With a piece this detailed, careful handling starts before it ever leaves the home. We separated the cabinet into sections, blanket wrapped and shrink wrapped each piece, secured everything for transport, and carefully reassembled it in its new home.

Antique and specialty furniture requires patience, proper protection, and attention to detail every step of the way. Preserving the craftsmanship and getting this piece safely into place was the priority from start to finish.

Moving made simple. Moving done right.

Big addition to Cole & Case Moving.

We officially added our first box truck to the fleet!

This has been a goal for a while, and it feels damn good to finally have one of our own. We’ve spent a lot of time building this company one job at a time, reinvesting back into the business and adding equipment as we grow.

Having our own box truck gives us another tool to better serve our customers and gives us a lot more flexibility going forward.

Still plenty of work to do to get it exactly how we want it, including getting the Cole & Case name on the side, but this is a pretty exciting step for us.

Thank you to everyone who has hired us, referred us, left a review or supported Cole & Case Moving. Every one of those jobs has helped us get here.

Moving made simple. Moving done right.

Another investment in what we can offer our customers.

We’ve always offered cleanout and removal services, and this new dump trailer gives our crew even more capability to handle larger projects efficiently.

Estate cleanouts, move-out cleanouts, garages, basements, unwanted furniture and household items, we can handle the removal and disposal from start to finish.

We’re continuing to invest in the equipment and resources to better serve our customers throughout Northern Michigan.

Need a cleanout or removal project handled? Send us a message or give us a call for an estimate.

Not your everyday move.

This military relocation included some of the most unique handcrafted Korean furniture our crew has had the opportunity to handle. Intricate cabinetry, specialty pieces, bedroom sets, a treadmill, a piano, and other heavy household pieces all coming out of a three story home.

With furniture this unique, proper protection and careful handling are just as important as the heavy lifting. Our crew took the time to protect, secure, and move each piece with the attention it deserved from start to finish.

Every move is different, and this one was a great example of the variety of residential and specialty moving work Cole & Case Moving is equipped to handle.
