Before moving day, we always recommend scheduling a pre-move vet visit to help make the transition safer and less stressful for your pet. It’s a great opportunity to update vaccinations and medical records, refill prescriptions, confirm microchip and ID tag information, and ask your veterinarian for travel tips—especially for long-distance moves. If your pet experiences anxiety during travel, your vet may also recommend calming strategies to help keep them comfortable throughout the journey.
